- mode... yep, that's what my manual here says. If the modem is wrong then I'd
- like to hear about it, since I too am working on a similar setup and was just
- getting ready to make a decision between high-end Motorola and Pemril gear
- (full V.34+ (33K6) and SDC (Synchronous Data Compression)) that supposedly can
- push past 128K bps. If the USR's I have sitting here can do full V.34 over
- sync, I'll skip the extra (theoretical) bit of speed and save myself $1500 -
- $2000 :-)
