  16. I was under the impression that the Couriers could only go to 19K2 in sync
  17. mode... yep, that's what my manual here says. If the modem is wrong then I'd
  18. like to hear about it, since I too am working on a similar setup and was just
  19. getting ready to make a decision between high-end Motorola and Pemril gear
  20. (full V.34+ (33K6) and SDC (Synchronous Data Compression)) that supposedly can
  21. push past 128K bps. If the USR's I have sitting here can do full V.34 over
  22. sync, I'll skip the extra (theoretical) bit of speed and save myself $1500 -
  23. $2000 :-)
